Spaghetti Squash

This dish was given 3 1/2 stars.

This picture looked scrumptious and we wanted to try it out for ourselves. It was a fairly simple recipe and just took a bit of time to complete (more than the ten minutes that the original recipe states). I think most of our effort was put forth when we were trying to split the squash in half.  Other than that, the recipe went smoothly; although we did exclude the hazelnuts.  We found that leaving the squash on the pan a little longer to cool made it easier to come out of the shell (the second one that was sitting on the hot pan came out smoothly while the first required more effort).  It was a decent tasting meal, but we ended up giving it about 3 ½ stars. It was a tad bland, and I don’t know if perhaps we made it wrong, but we felt it could have been a little better.
